A desperate Dad plans to tattoo his 12-months-old twin babies because he can't tell them apart

A desperate dad is considering tattooing or piercing one of his twin boys to tell them apart after a medication mix up led to both babies becoming acutely unwell. The 12-month-old boys, Adam and Aaron, are identical and the only thing that separates them is that Aaron is having very serious health issues which require him to have medication every four hours.

The father made an online appeal to parents for a permanent solution to tell his sons apart when the identifying permanent marker the couple had been using rubbed off in the bath and grandma accidentally gave Aaron’s medication to Adam. This made Adam very sick and Aaron had to be hospitalised for a week.

The dad, known only as Thrwydad, posted on Reddit: “This is a serious extreme situation and I don't want to take this risk again. We have had other mix ups with the boys but it has never wound up this bad.”
