11-year-old Beauty vlogger with severe facial disfigurement becomes YouTube star by sharing her make-up tips with millions of fans

An 11-year-old vlogger with a severe facial disfigurement has racked up two million views on YouTube after sharing her beauty tips.

Nikki Christou from London suffers with AVM (arteriovenous malformation), a rare health condition which causes intense pain and life-threatening nose bleeds.

However the young girl vows it will never hold her back and has raised thousands of pounds for charity through her channel, where she has an impressive 35,000 subscribers.

Nikki was diagnosed at the age of six, when she noticed veins popping up on the right-hand side of her face.
Two years later she set up her YouTube channel, Nikki Lily, where she shares make-up tips and baking tutorials with her loyal fan base.

Her parents, George and Tanya, also set up AVM Butterfly, a charity dedicated to fundraising for research into the condition  - which leaves sufferers with an abnormal connection between their arteries and veins.

Together, they have raised more than £55,000 via their JustGiving page.
