A Nigerian burns survivor shows how make-up covers her severe scars which have inspired millions online.


A burns survivor has shown the transformation power of make-up in a video which has inspired millions online according to Mirror online.
Shalom Nchom was burned by hot oil when she was just nine-years-old.

The severe burns she sustained at her family's food store in Nigeria covered her head, neck and face.

As well as losing most of her hair, Shalom's ears were fused to her head.
But she found out what make up can do at aged 13, and she's made it work for her.


"You have to be grateful for what you have, because you never know what someone else may be going through," she reveals.
Now 20, the Maryland resident posts online make up tutorials, and her latest onYouTube and Instagram has been shared and lauded all over the world.


And it's a revelation, as she shared with Glamour.
"Of course you cannot make it disappear," she says - but the expert coverage she shows is a testament to the power of make up .
