Mark Zuckerberg slammed after Facebook censors naked Vietnam war 'Napalm girl' picture (photos)

Mark Zuckerberg has been slammed for removing a Pulitzer prize-winning photograph taken during the Vietnam war because it shows a naked child.

Napalm Attack

Nine-year-old Kim Phuc is pictured naked alongside several other children fleeing a napalm attack during the conflict. The "Napalm girl" picture, taken by photographer Nick Ut, is one of the most famous images from the war and was posted on the social network by a Norwegian newspaper.

It was shared as part of a Facebook post by one of Aftenposten 's writers discussing seven photos that changed the history of warfare.

The historic picture was removed because of Facebook's community guidelines which stipulate no nudity.
