Shocking story of how three Catholic priests escaped death in the hands of suspected Fulani herdsmen in Enugu State (photos)

Three Catholic priests were attacked by Fulani herdsmen in Enugu state their way from a condolence visit, one kidnapped and two sustained various degrees of injury.  It is a relief to announce that the men of God survived the attack and the kidnapped priest regained his freedom.  Timothy Ofoegbu shared the picture and posted an update on facebook. In his word;

"In the pictures are three Catholic priests that escaped death in the hands of suspected Fulani herdsmen. On the right is the blood soaked soutane worn by Rev Fr. Chukwuneke. Three Catholic priests were Monday, September 26, attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Akachine, Nsukka LGA of Enugu State, around 6pm on their way from a condolence visit. The attack left one of them, Rev Fr. Jude Chetanna Chukwuneke (who was driving) with bullet wounds in the head; and another, Rev. Fr Jude Ezeokana, with injuries sustained after their car fell into a bush. The last one, Rev. Fr Emmanuel Dim, who was kidnapped. Fr Jude asked me to thank all of you that prayed for their quick recovery and freedom. He and Fr Ezeokana have been discharged from the hospital and Fr Dim has been released by his kidnappers. Over 5000 people prayed for them on my two posts when I broke the news on the Facebook 24 hours after the ugly incident"
